DESCRIPTION:

Sleeve made of a type E glass fiber braid, coated with a silicone elastomer.

WORKING TEMPERATURE:

• Class C – 55° C / + 230°C in continuous service
• Can withstand peaks of up to 250° C

Standard insulation voltage: 4,0 kV

CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Good resistance to most chemical agents.

STANDARD COLOURS:

Brick red (other colours by request)

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

• Excellent flexibility
• Good resistance to ageing
• Good resistance to vibrations
• Poor mechanical strength of the silicone elastomer
• Good adhesion of the silicone elastomer to the glass braid
• Does not propagate flames
• Good resistance to humidity
