DESCRIPTION:
Sleeve made of a type E glass fibre braided sleeve coated with a silicone elastomer.
OPERATING TEMPERATURE:
Class C – 55° C / + 230°C in continual use
Can withstand peaks up to 250 °C
ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Standard insulation voltage: 4.0 Kv
CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Good resistance to most chemical agents.
STANDARD COLOURS: Brick Red (other colours on request)
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- Excellent flexibility
- Good resistance to ageing
- Good resistance to vibrations
- Poor mechanical resistance of the silicone elastomer
- Good adhesion of the silicone elastomer to the glass fibre sleeve
- Does not propagate flames
- Good resistance to humidity
- UL 1441 fireproof
