The use of alumina to replace the steatite greatly enlarges the field of use of application of the ROTEN 3 seal making it suitable also for heavier duty applications. Alumina is in fact resistant to corrosion, erosion and abrasion.

O-ring in EPDM and VITON FPM for liquids that require it.

The distance *L is taken as with the seal in the working position (spring compressed).
