GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:
The motor protector is a miniaturised device designed using known technology for protection against the overheating of small motors, transformers, solenoids etc.
Silver contacts are used, the circuit is normally closed.
The bimetallic disc is sensitive to heat transmitted to it by the windings.
When the temperature of the disc reaches a predetermined calibration point the disc is triggered and breaks the electrical power circuit.
